Having gained much from the construction industry from young ages, here at High Spec Solutions we believe in making the same opportunities available to the next generation. Over the past two decades we have seen a decline in training programs for young British workers to obtain the correct skills in this industry. It is therefore one of our goals to not only provide work placements for 16-21-year olds but to also provide training and mentoring coupled with training at CITB facilities wherever available to counter this decline.

Construction accounts for 6-7% of the UK GDP and is closely tied to nearly every other sector in the UK economy. The recent reports detailing the shortages in young British skilled workers needs to be addressed immediately. We believe that young skilled construction workers do not just contribute to the economy but also to their communities. Many life lessons are taught alongside trade skills at an early age. We at High Spec Solutions believe they are the foundations for a safer happier environment for all of us to live in. For that reason, our aim is to provide at least 3-5 placements across our projects with room for growth every year.
